Wood alone does not make an exhibition stand a green stand. In addition to the already existing "Green Meetings & Events" certificates, Austria has also had a certification for exhibition stand construction according to the guidelines of the Austrian eco-label of the Ministry of Life since 2017. This allows companies to present themselves with an authentic, climate-neutral and sustainable exhibition stand.
Among the main points of the guidelines of a Green Stand are Certification of the booth builders, thereby promoting sustainable production. Furthermore, it is important to PVC to be avoided and to recycle disposable carpets.
At the centre of a Green Stand is the use of sustainable wood-based materials. The Wood Design Expo Systems of the EECS are Green Stands, as our Oak Stand and Oak Frames allow companies to exhibit on a sustainable stand made of composite oak.
The establishment of environmentally friendly and reusable printing round off a sustainable trade fair presence and allow the company to present itself in a different way at different events without having to constantly fall back on new resources.
Last but not least, behind a green stand there must be a Mobility concept stand. The EECS has succeeded in developing a patented plug-in system. Therefore our wood systems are modular, reusable and sustainable.
Thanks to our Green Stands, companies are now finally able to present an authentic sustainable image at trade fairs and meet all sustainability challenges.
